Using Pharmacyp.
These terms describe the agreement between Pharmacyp and the clinicians and clinical staff who use the product. They are written to be readable in a single sitting — no boilerplate that doesn’t apply.
Effective May 18, 2026
A SaaS clinical decision support tool.
Pharmacyp is a web-based clinical decision support product that surfaces drug–drug interactions and pharmacogenomic context from curated, citation-backed sources. It is delivered as software-as-a- service over the public internet. Pharmacyp is not currently integrated with any electronic health record system.
Licensed prescribers and authorized clinical staff.
Pharmacyp accounts are intended for licensed prescribers and authorized clinical staff working under their supervision. Account holders are responsible for the credentials they sign up with and for any activity performed using those credentials. Do not share accounts.
Pharmacyp adds context. The prescriber decides.
Pharmacyp surfaces flags and recommendations derived from published clinical guidelines, and shows the citation behind every output on the same line. The prescriber retains full responsibility for every prescribing decision. Pharmacyp is not a substitute for clinical judgment, for direct patient evaluation, or for the prescriber’s independent interpretation of the underlying guidelines.
Clinical workflow, education, and evaluation.
You may use Pharmacyp to support real-time prescribing review, for clinical education, and for evaluation. You may not use Pharmacyp to (a) enter real, identifying patient health information, (b) attempt to extract, redistribute, or republish the underlying curated datasets, (c) reverse-engineer the service, or (d) use the service in any way that would violate applicable law in your jurisdiction. See the Privacy policy for the PHI obligation in detail.
Every output is traceable to a curated source.
Pharmacyp’s outputs are derived from curated public sources — including DDInter 2.0, CPIC, PharmVar, NLM RxClass / MED-RT, CredibleMeds, and the Boustani anticholinergic-burden scale. Each finding cites the source that backs it. Pharmacyp does not author mechanism claims from a language model’s parametric memory; the per-finding formatter assembles its narrative from the curated source strings themselves. We work to keep these sources current and accurate, but Pharmacyp is provided on an “as is” basis (see the limitation below) and any clinical decision is the prescriber’s.
Regulatory status is the user’s responsibility.
Pharmacyp is not currently registered as a medical device with any regulatory body. Some jurisdictions require such registration for certain intended uses of clinical decision support software. Where such a requirement applies to your intended use, complying with it is your responsibility.
Best-effort uptime during the pilot phase.
Pharmacyp aims for high availability and treats incidents as a priority. During the current pilot phase the service is offered on a best-effort basis, and scheduled or emergency maintenance may interrupt access. Formal uptime commitments will be agreed in writing with pilot partners when applicable.
We own the product; data sources are owned by their licensors.
Pharmacyp owns the product, its source code, its user interface, and the curated mappings and rules that power its outputs. The underlying clinical reference datasets remain the property of their respective licensors and are used under their applicable licenses; attribution is shown in the Sources section of the site footer.
You can close your account at any time.
You may close your account at any time by emailing the contact below. Pharmacyp may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms — for example, repeated entry of real patient PHI after notice, or any attempt to extract or republish the underlying curated datasets.
Pharmacyp is provided as is.
Pharmacyp is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular clinical outcome, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pharmacyp will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
We will notify account holders of material changes.
